This summer, the VIEW is asking readers to capture the classic Cape summer moment in a photograph. Whether it is a child and dog tugging at the heartstrings of those of us sentimental enough to remember simpler glory days or the sight of a soaring
osprey or bald eagle or even the traffic on Route 6 snaking its way toward land’s end – a thousand telling images show us what we will carry through the warm days and cool nights, and long after Labor Day – the recollection of relaxation and lazy walks along the beach, the view of a molten sunset from Sandy Neck, a napping child sprawled on a rumpled blanket on the sand.

Cape Cod Times will help select winners in each category.
First-place winners will win a prize and be considered for a future cover for an upcoming issue of the VIEW or to be showcased in a gallery on our website, www.capecodview.net.
Photos must be in color, at least 7MB or higher.
The deadline for submissions is June 15, so that winners can be considered for publication before summer’s end.
